Upper elementary school students from the Inly School in Scituate have been playing the World Peace Game for the past ten weeks. Four countries, the UN, the World Bank, and the Arms Dealers have a number of crises to solve in order to beat the game. Students from Hingham High and Tennoji had an opportunity to learn about each other's cultures over the course of a week in a unique visit by the Tennoji baseball team. The Japanese students visited Boston sites and attended classes at Hingham High with cultural ambassadors from Hingham High. The Norwell food pantry offers food, clothing, and help to those who need it in the community. The money that they would have used for food can now go into the bank, into health care, or a gift for a son or daughter. Bel-Air residents spent this past Saturday enjoying a game that they hadn't played since they were in gym class. There were sign holders, high school seniors, volunteers making phone calls to swing states, and greyhounds voicing their opinion on Election Day. The Marshfield Fair Grounds played host to the New England Wild West Fest on June 26-28 giving the South Shore a taste of the cowboy life.
